I am not very good at expressing myself through words, except when teaching yoga. Perhaps that’s why I’ve always enjoyed spending my free time singing, dancing, painting, and meditating. As a fashion designer and stylist, what truly draws me in and keeps my passion alive is the realization that my mood and even my character can be transformed, emphasized, or expressed through the way I dress. This makes me believe that good design and style can evoke the same feelings in others and sometimes have a profoundly positive impact on their lives. For me, fashion is not just about what’s on the runway or in shows—it has to be part of real life. We don’t have to always look up to fashion; instead, let it serve us.
